Reading Journal # 6

Okay...so im still reading The Secrect Life Of Bees. Im at the part of the book where Zach gets in jail because a famous white man was bringing a black woman to a theater andthe white men standing infront of the theater are sayiig that they aint letting him in. Thent heres thae black boys who are staning out in fornt to because they wanted to see so Zach was just goin there to get somthing for the honeymoblie. When one of the black boys hits one of the white men in the nose with a soda can and makes it bleed.So because Zach didnt tell the police who ti was he went to jail too. When August found out she told everyone but May because May has a conditiopn .she feels everyone pain. so then one day May answered the phone and it was Zachs mom telling her about Zach in jail. when she found outshje lost all emotion. She didnt speak or any thing. they she asked if she could go to the wailing wall. August was gona come with her but may asked if she could go by her self. After 30 min May was still out htere so they went to look for her.they couldnt find her untill august looked at the river and saw her hands up...May had put a boulder on top ofsk out to me because it was I think this part stuck out to me because it was the saddest part in the book aso far..I mean could you imagine finding your sister in the river with a boulder over her.If i was august i would fill so much guilt and sadness. I f you want to find out more about this book youll have to read it yourself.
