Are You Serious? Reading Journal

Okay so in class we are writing an article on controversial issues that teens face today. I choose to do suicide. Q:I did research on google well somehow i ended up on you tube. C:They have all theses videos of people making jokes about suicide and it really just you know pissed me off. Excuse my language but it did. I mean that's ridiculous. Thousands of people commit suicide because the truly feel alone and unwanted and here people are making jokes about it. I have no experience with suicide personally but I have hear about it alot .No one should every have to think of suicide as there only option or escape.Q: Do you know what people commit suicide because of? Bullying ,depression ,abuse, all kinds of things. I've been thinking that since we are making a play about all the teen issue that there should be a short scene with one monologue of a person saying how he/she almost committed suicide because abuse or whatever. Maybe not exactly that but something that makes those kids aware of suicide and the right way to deal with it.
